White trousers and black Theory top 3
These trousers and this top do not crease, they are airy, light and (I think) classy. Great in my book.
By adding the modern necklace I hope to achieve a modern look. Neutralizing the classic pumps.
I always fall for pumps. Rarely for awesome, modern shoes. Nevertheless, as soon as I see another blogger wearing them, I think: “Rats… this looks so much better, more modern”.
Even as a teenager I liked pumps (with a low heel at the time). My mother used to say: “My goodness child, what an old-fashioned taste you have in shoes”. Being the fantastic mother she is, she just bought them and let me be happy.

She was always wise. Imagine this: my mother, neatly dressed in skirt and jacket and me, 16 years old, walking next to her wearing…… corduroy trousers, very, very tight and bleached. Together with a black thrifted astrakhan/Persian fur coat, three sizes too big and falling apart from old age. Literally. I had to stitch the back once a week. Oh… and I wore a red crochet yarmulke on my head, not being Jewish at all. Got the picture?
She never said: “I am not going shopping with you, looking like that”. She just accepted it. Which doesn’t mean she never expressed her disgust. She did… once in a while, LOL.
Gosh it took me a long time to develop some style.

My apologies for the quality of the photos: I had my lens on Manual Focus instead of Auto Focus. I figured that out after the shoot and did not want to do it again.

Above: the necklace was a gift from my husband (…) last year when we were in Paris.
