Remember I went shopping in Amsterdam Utrechtsestraat? At the shop Centre Neuf this black and cream transparent top got my love. It has the required sleeves over the elbow, it is classic and cute and has a bow (always a plus in my book). In spring it is best worn with a top which has 3/4 sleeves as in this post. When it is summer it needs a little tank top underneath it, otherwise it will shock people. I am transparent enough: my life is an open book, everybody always knows everything about me. No need to overdo it. View Post
Last year I showed you this blouse with jeans and mint-green booties. Very handy if you have to walk a lot. But I am a lover of high heels. No fun walking on them, well… at least not as easy as sneakers or ballerinas, but they make me look a lot better. Or is it all in my mind? Anyway, I tried this checked blouse with skinny trousers and high heels and rated this look a lot higher. I took the photos last year just before it started to get cold. So I kept them for spring.
We totally forgot how much fun it is, shopping in Amsterdam Utrechtsestraat. We imagined to “do” the street in no time. After all what is one street? “We” in this case are my friends and colleagues Anke, Sabine and myself. We did not make it to all the shops. There were so many places of interest. View Post
Another present from my husband: a yellow polka dot blouse. He mailed me a photo of this blouse when he spotted it in the shop. “Would you like this?”… Yes I would! And please could I also get that strange tie-thing they were displaying the blouse with on the mannequin? No idea what it was. It turned out to be a string of hair. ARTIFICIAL hair, mind you. Funny!! The shop was kind enough to give me this shop display item although it was not for sale. (They have a very good stylist.) The blouse is by SpijkersSISSpijkers, two Dutch female designers, who also designed my eye blouse. View Post
