Red cowboy boots (1 van 2)These red cowboy boots never get the attention from me they deserve. They were a present from my husband but I was too impatient when buying them. I wanted them less high. Perhaps if they had been mid calf, I might wear them more. They are pretty comfortable and the brand is Sendra (worn in winter here). The red is perfect to combine with my new tassle necklace, made by Suzanne Carillo. (If you like it, you can order one through her blog.) View Post

Irie Wash jacket, Marlene Birger trousers, Panara shoes (8 van 11) Green trousers??? Green??? I can hear you think. Yes dears, they are green. OK,  they are charcoal grey/green trousers. I seem to have a preference for these in-between-shades. Remember my (totally different) grey green baggy trousers? These trousers change their colour in different light. They are by Marlene Birger (I love that brand) and are pretty ideal. You don’t feel them so you can put them on for dinner. Plus, when you take them out of the washing machine, you only have to hang them up, no ironing. View Post

Street Style Italy (5 van 6)Forgive me my lack of camera skills. I shot these pictures to make a Street Style in Italy post in only an hour. I could hardly communicate with the lovely ladies as not everybody spoke English as well as Daniela does. So explaining why I was photographing was also hard. Still, I like you to get an impression of what the women were wearing in Turin. I can tell you… there were a lot more to choose from than in The Netherlands. View Post

Shopping in Utrecht (4 van 26)My dear friends and colleagues Sabine and Anke are perhaps worse than I am when it comes to shopping. We all adore a day of laughter, coffee, lunch and …shopping. They help me take photographs as well. Question…. where to go to this time? Paris was the first option, but we settled for shopping in Utrecht, which is a beautiful, old city in the middle of the country. The Netherlands has a lot of nice towns with little shops in the old centers. It will probably all disappear in the future and make way for shopping malls. View Post

Acne tunic skinny jeans and golden boots (4 van 9)This post is about the combination of a few of my favourite things: my Acne tunic with skinny jeans and silver boots. The boots are actually silver / gold / bronze. And after the initial painful period of adjusting the right boot to my (half a size bigger) right foot, they are reasonably comfortable. As comfortable as pointy high heeled boots can get. View Post
