Me and my bag (1 van 2)When you are addicted, you should not go to places where you know you are going to be tempted. I know. My shopping addiction or, if you want to sugar that, my love for beauty ¬†ūüėÜ ¬†forced me to go on a financial diet. One which I had vowed to stick to for 5 months. I lasted 5 weeks. Because of this bag. When you are in The Netherlands this weekend, you should go to the Design & Craft fair in the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. Below you will find all of my photos. I do appologize for the poor quality. If you want to see better ones and get more information (in English and Dutch), click on this link. I will put the designer’s name with nearly every picture I took and you can find all their stuff for sale in the webshop, which is unfortunately only in Dutch. Never mind … you know what a euro is, you can see the designer’s name and you can see the item… what more do you need?¬† View Post

Flared jeans with yellow top (7 van 15)It is not that simple for me to style these flared¬†jeans, although you probably think I am being difficult. They need something narrow at the waist and bum which usually doesn’t make me look good.

You have seen these flared jeans once before, with my green jacket. And I can tell you, they look awesome with this top as well. Which means I already have three outfits with these trousers and soon you will see a fourth. Not bad.  View Post

Cream pleated skirt Max Mara (72)_LREt voil√†….. the first pictures of my purchases in Turin with Daniela. Dan picked¬†four¬†skirts and I loved them all. My problem however, is that I cannot style a skirt in a modern way. So I asked her to pick some tops as well. Sure enough she came back with 3 gorgeous tops in a sort of neoprene material. Each one of them suits this Max Mara cream pleated skirt but I wanted to style it¬†myself for a change…. (getting adventurous aren’t I?). For a couple of days I thought the skirt was made of very thin leather. Then I got wiser. It feels like that, it looks like that, but it isn’t. View Post

Street Style Turin Oct 2015 (20)_LRThe pity with this post is that I didn’t get enough good photos to do a proper Street Style post. Not because there weren’t enough gorgeous looking women around but because I was in the wrong spot for taking pictures most of the time. And as I was in Turin to spend time with Daniela, I didn’t want to put too much time and effort into it.

As Street Style photographers know, it takes skill, time and dedication to get the right pictures. So be it, you will have to do with these pictures. You’ll get to see the good ones first and as you go through the post, the quality gets poorer. But I can tell you… Italians do know how to dress. View Post

Turin with Dan Oct 2015 (45)_LRWhat can I say? Visiting Dan in Turin is such a delight. The flight is only  1 1/2 hour, cost just over 100 euro (return flight) and takes me to a friend who is always so happy to see me. As I am so happy to see her. Amazing that such a deep friendship can come from just blogging. English is not our native language and expressing yourself is so important to get to know the real person. Nevertheless there is a soul connection which covers the blancs in our conversation. View Post
