Grey green baggy trousers with jacket and animal print

Python jacket Versace
I nearly forgot to give you the third and last episode of my grey green baggy trousers. As I promised.
Which was also caused by the fact that I did not want to bore you with three times the same trousers.
But, a promise is a promise.

So herewith my baggy trousers for the last time.
I combined them with a jacket and I combined them with a leopard print top and leopard print vest. Which happened purely by chance. I had the top on and wanted to see whether I would still fit the vest. As the vest is at least 10 to 15 years old. Then I looked in the mirror and thought: hey… that is actually quite exciting.

Truth be told, I wore this outfit with the python high heels, which is nicer as you already know. But I have not got any photos of that.

To give this article something extra, I started with a photo of my python coat. This was a very good buy at a thrift shop. (Seem to be doing pretty well these days at thrift shops.)
The coat is by no less than Versace Jeans Couture and it was a steal. It is a featherweight and as soft as the skin of a kitten.

I quite like my animal prints. Hope you do too.

PS There is a lovely challenge going on at the blog 40plusstyle.com:  40 + style challenge
Challenge is to create 2 outfits that combine 3 colours and 1 pattern. Here is an example of how Sylvia has done it. I am a big fan of the outfit on the right. Perfection to my taste.

  1. I really like the vest “wild” and the coat is beautiful. They are so beautiful the two pieces that even “those” pants are nice. 🙂 Happy week …

    1. And the coat as well as the black jacket have another advantage…. they hide the saggy bum of the trousers haha.

  2. I’m a huge fan of animal prints- they are kind of neutrals in my wardrobe, I can wear them with most anything I own- but the snake-y thing, you’d never see me wearing it! I’m smitten with your pants- wouldn’t mind seeing more outfits featuring them And I agree, that coat is beautiful-even if snake-y

    1. snake-y is just not my thing, just like tartan. Just a mater of preference.

    2. Out of curiosity, what have you got against snake-y-things?And about the trousers (I keep calling them trousers… The English version haha)… This is already the third outfit I have shown with these trousers in the short time I am blogging, so I think you will not see them again soon.

  3. Thank you so much for joining me in this adveture. I am so glad the link worked, lol
I couldn´t agree more with you about Iris. She is so stunning, and a proof that there is other kind of fashion.
    You look glorious, dear Greetje.

    1. It was an oldy but goody. I can of course place a link to you on this page, but it would be better if I do that in an outfit post coming Thursday.

  4. Hi Greetje, you look so cool! Particularly with the sneakers, that’s my favourite look:) You know I like my animal prints as well;)

    1. Hi Nanne, what a surprise… Welcome. Super that you like this look. I prefer this look with my python high heels as I showed earlier on November 21. But for my leasure time these sneakers are the best.

  5. Very interesting post. You look great!

    1. Thank you. Just want to say for the future…. Don’t be afraid to be cricical. If you think something is not nice, please also tell me. It might be just a matter of taste which is fine to show on this blog as well. But it might also be something I (or perhaps all viewers) can learn from.

  6. Such a great score with the coat. LOVE it.Also, LOVE the look with the blazer. It’s casual, and still stylish. Keep up the great work!xo,Terryhttp://terrys-two-cents.blogspot.com

    1. Oh Terry, you are still following me.. terrific. I like the look with the blazer as well, but cannot resist the temptation of taking it off and showing my leopard arms. LOL

  7. Loving your animal prints. You wear them well. And your backgrounds are lovely.

    1. My backgrounds are lovely? You surprise me. I only have a small garden and having to take the (sun) light into account when photographing there are only two or three spots where I can do that, which limits me. For instance in these photos I would have loved not to have the windows in the photo. Ah well.. They will get better in time.
