Grey wide trousers

These trousers are very comfortable, which is something I appreciate more and more as I grow older.
I remember the times (seventies) when I laid flat on my back on the floor in a jeans shop with the shop assistent bending over me trying to get the zip up. Those jeans were so tight, that you saw the impressions of the trousers in your body.
These days have gone.

It was quite difficult to find the right shoes with these “harem trousers”. I found out by trial and error that I needed to show some flesh (of my feet). So no boots. Not too high heels etc. Finally I stumbled upon these flat shoes from Marithé et Francois Girbaud. They are a bit funny with a little flap on the nose of the shoe.
I got a few comments that the trousers were too long. When I look at other photos I agree with those comments. When I look at the trousers in real life or in the photos in this article, I don’t. What do you think?

I tried the trousers with several tops. The vest with flower pattern is nice, the white jacket is nice, but the green jacket with the slanting belt… no, a failure.

The green stone is periodot and the bracelet is in reality a watch.
You can open the top like a little lid and see the time.
Do you think it is dangerous to show jewellery on a blog?

    1. I like the wide trousers because they balance out my bodyshape. Had to laugh over your comment. Keep them coming.

  3. You are fun, fabulous and true to your style.
The wide trousers are just perfect with the pointed shoes.

    1. Thank you my dear… as spring is coming up, I can wear them again soon. The shoes turned out to be a treasure for these trousers.

  4. Funny, I liked the grey and green outfit best. I thought it was more streamlined, but what may not work of the jacket is the length ad the colour is gorgeous paired with two shades of grey.

    1. So many people, so many tastes. And you are right. It probably is the length. Had not seen that yet. The belt did not help either…

  5. The xx was a test, now to the comment! As far as the grey baggy trousers are concerned, your bum may no fit, but an incontinence pad might, so before you throw out or send them to me, you might consider hanging on to them for the future….you never know…love u..Patski

    1. Hahaha Patski, I know you dislike my baggy trousers and I love the way you get this message across. It cracks me up. You are so funny. And yes I will hang on to them till I need them the way you suggest. LOLPS just a hint for next time…. please post your comment with the article??

  7. I struggled to start the blog, but do not stop now. Every time I open it, there is a new post, is a stress … 🙂 🙂 Just kidding, I love watching your proposals. I love the vest flowers, beautiful and goes well with the gray. This is the outfit that I like. I agree with you, the white jacket is beautiful, and not so much the green jacket. Really, harem pants do not like much, but you look good.
