Brown jeans, black jacket and sneakers

These brown jeans are proving to be a real treasure. I can wear nearly anything with them. Even my newly acquired lime-green jacket looks very nice on them.

Of course I am combining it with black again. Must have listened too long to Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black.
Really… I should be punished if I buy another black piece of clothing.

Nevertheless I would not have thought of putting this particular jacket on these jeans. Again it was lovely Anja who encouraged me to try it. I really like this outfit a lot. Even better than with the black (….oh..) sweater I bought with the jeans.

The last two pictures are about my cat and dog rather than the outfit. Included them just for fun.

Above picture: I know she looks skinny but she is really very healthy and in good condition. I have sent my husband to two different vets and a dog trainer to check whether she is not too skinny. Apparently not. She seems to have the condition of a 1 1/2 year old dog and she is 6. Her name is Charlie.

  3. This dog is fine as her owner, the two have nice figure. Your ability to prepare outfits is fantastic. How you prepare a post every day? I can not cope to comment. :).I love the outfit today, the colors are gorgeous and the proposal is casual and youthful. I really like the jacket and the color of the pants. I also like the yellow detail at the end of the pants. A very nice and balanced proposal. You’re always pretty with jeans.

    1. I am pretty in jeans as long as I cover my hip and bum area. Which of course I do. Knowing your best and worst features is the key to looking good. But I am glad you keep the comments going. Much appreciated. And yes it is difficult to prepare a post every day especially because I have a (more than) fulltime job. Which means I have to make photos during the weekend, hoping it is dry outside. Then I photograph as many outfits as possible in order to have some in stock for the time when I can really not go out. Photographing indoors is a real problem in my house.

I like this combination a lot. Why? because the trousers and shoes are cool and groovy like younger people say and then you make it look special by combining it with this more classic jacket. I’ll bet they turn their heads when you pass by. By the way cann’t you wear this necklace with your second boyfriends jacket combo.

    1. I have not seen anyone turn their head and I don’t pay any attention either. Really doubt it. Nice that you think it is cool and groovy. LOLAnd do you mean the scarf with the second boyfriend jacket combo? Not a bad idea.

  5. Another great look, Greetje. I REALLY love the pop of color at the base of the pants. Is that the color on the inside of the jeans?xo,Terryhttp://terrys-two-cents.blogspot.com

    1. yes it is the inside of the jeans. I also have a big yellow sweater to make it really casual. You will see these jeans more often.
