  1. ha ha so funny! Never got a reason for Rudolph’s red nose before!

    1. wow, living and learning! Learning is one of my favourite things- but, I like Anja’s explanation better, call me romantic, haha

    2. I heard yesterday that all reindeers have red noses. In short it comes down to the fact that Rudolph’s nose is red because it is rich with red blood cells. These red blood cells protect the nose from freezing and keep the temperature of Rudolph’s brains stable. If you look at their noses with a thermographic camera they are actually red.By the way, that song about Rudolph is such an opportunity for parents to set things straight. After Santa Claus asked him to guide the sleigh, all those bullies “loved” Rudolph. Success makes friends, but it is not a real friendship. I hope parents tell their children that.

This is a funny one again. And thank you Greetje for your explanation . My nose gets red when I drink too much, and that never happens anymore. I think Rudolph has a feminine touch, I love his eyelashes. Will you please give my best wishes to Anja from me.

    1. And my undertitle with this drawing was: “Not every deer has Rudolph-aspirations!”. Hence the eyelashes; this happens to be a female deer, who does not feel to be turned into a Rudolph at all;-).

    2. Sorry I missed the subtitle. It is funny.
