Big orange cardigan

It is so nice to have really comfortable clothes in leasure time which still look stylish. To me this cardigan is such a thing.

As you can see, snow has fallen in The Netherlands. Nevertheless bloggers must take photos, so cold or hot, there you are, with your camera and remote, trying to take pictures which make you look good. It takes about a hunderd photos to get 4 to 6 pictures which you dare put on the internet. I am not kidding, I am not a photogenic person. If you think “she doesn’t look that bad”, just remember the selection 4 out of 100. LOL

Back to the big cardigan.

You will see this cardigan with:

jeans, my patent leather bootie/shoes, a polka dot scarf tied long,
black trousers, black boots and a black and white necklace,
black trousers, black boots and the polka dot scarf tied short.

I like the combination of the black boots, black pants and the necklace with the cardigan. It just seems to make the outfit cozy and classy all in one. Although, when its a jean kind of day, that outfit is wonderful as well. And, thanks for always being able to make us laugh with your fun comments. Wish I could be there to see your photo sessions, at least the ones you post sure have us all fooled that it was 4 out of 100.

  You know appearances can be deceptive. My mother always warned me when I looked at photos in magazines.She used to say: “Dear, it is just a photo. When it is taken the person who is holding the hair up, will let go, the pins are being removed from the clothes etc. it is not reality” . She is a wise woman as this was far far before photoshopping and internet.

First off, love love love your big cardi. I passed on a beautiful fuchsia cashmere sweater this fall. Wish I hadn’t. Anyway, my husband normally takes between 100 to 60 photos of me for each post. Of those we edit down to 6 – 10. Of those I usually use only 3-5. That’s fashion photography for you!

I love this outfit! M kind of thing. One with scarf wrapped around your neck is my favourite. When you get fed up with the sweater and scarf, “re-cycle” and send to me! Patski x

You can really pull off an oversized top like this, you look great! And the color is lovely. I prefer it with the dark blue jeans, it’s a very good combination.

  People keep asking me why I wear oversized things like this cardigan, when I have just acquired a waist. While I am quite pleased I can wear something like this. It is not about hiding my figure. As you say not everybody can pull off this style. Even though I have a waist (sort of) I don’t feel the need to always emphasize it.

I would not have any hesitations of sending it to you dear, but I think you are not tall enough to get away with it. Next time I come over I will bring it and we can try. The scarf would not present this problem but you are out of luck there. I never part with scarfs as they never go out of fashion and it doesn’t matter if you change size hahaha.

I like all combo’s too! The combo with the necklace is different and very nice as well. So don’t choose, but wear every one once in a while;-). That’s the whole idea of combining, isn’t it? That it increases your possbilities. No need to choose or limit.

My kind of cardigan, oversized and a bright colour. I like the combinations with the scarf. You need something big with an oversized item. I like the necklace very much but in these combo’s I prefer the scarf.

I actually like the outfit with the sweater, black pants, tall black boots, and the necklace. 🙂 I think, because the sweater is so big on small you, that you do not need the extra fabric of the scarf. But I am not much of a scarf person so take that opinion with a grain of salt. LOL!Dear Greetje – that is not “snow”, that is a ‘dusting”. Hahaha! What I just spent the last hour shoveling off of my driveway is snow! But I did not look even 1/4 as fashionable as you while doing it. I love those boots. I love all of your boots. And you look fabulous in bright colors. USASuzanne

  I know, we complain, but the snow is only 20 cm high (or low). My husband did the shoveling (jippie). And if I do these things I am not wearing a big orange cardigan. I am no fool hahaha. But the pretty pictures are for the blog. With some great failures from time to time.And I share your love for boots. Obviously.
