SPAM….

Sorry my dear readers, I am experiencing a lot of spam lately. Therefore I had to change the settings to “moderating each comment before publishing”…. sigh.

I want to make it as easy as possible for people to leave a comment on my blog. Good people that is.
And I want to make it impossible for bad people to infect my blog.

Unfortunately I cannot find a good Spam-programme on Blogger, so I need to resort to this measure.
As there are friends who want to leave comments without a digital trace. Which means I have to leave comments open to anyone.

Don’t you hate criminals?

  4. You did the absolute right thing. I actually had folks posting article on my site, and when I finally realized, it was because I did not secure the author settings…..xoxo

  6. Ugh! I have two different spam guards on my blog, and a few still sneak into my spam area. Yuck. Sometimes real comments find there way in there too. I try to get them out ASAP. Sorry Greetje. This is just the way it is.

    1. It is a comfort to share this missery with you. As we say in The Netherlands: shared sorrow is hakf a sorrow (literally translated).

  7. Don’t worry it’s not a problem. Marie S

  8. Greetje Thanks for trying to solve this problem. I, who am a faithful follower of your blog, I fully understand your intention. Do not worry, I will follow the same, but you put it complicated, LOL. 🙂

  9. I’m ok with moderated comments. Spammers have nothing to do here!

    1. But it is nicer when you immediately see your own comment. Perhaps my computer guy can help me.
