Same shopping tour, same clothes, different steps, different street, no scarf. Great to link the two posts about the Nine Streets by two similar photos. By accident fooks, this was not a deliberate strategy, not a plan.
As you have seen in my previous post about the Nine Streets I was with my friend Helena, who is a sweet and patient friend. Not minding the numerous times she had to wait until I was done photographing.
Underneath the little map again. We continue at the bottom right: the corner of Herengracht and Huidenstraat.
Below: the first thing we see is Liebeskind at Huidenstraat number 11. They sell trendy leather accessories with an urban look and a underground feeling. 
Below: next door at Huidenstraat 13, is Gem Kingdom. A Dutch brand, very popular, with exclusive hand-made jewellery combining unusual materials. Sterling silver, gemstones, mother of pearl, cameos, engraved crystals, porcelain, hand-carved raisin and other rare and odd materials.
Below: Tony Cohen, a Dutch designer, at number 28, sells all sorts of goodies we women like. Check out his website. And in particular that black leather jacket Noelle. The coat on the right in the window below is also on his website. That is… at the time I wrote this post. Remember, the internet is a cursory medium.
Below: across the bridge to the corner of Keizersgracht and Runstraat, we found Local Service, which is the shop of Paul Smith. The shop on the left corner (you can see Helena just entering the shop) is for the ladies and across the road on the right corner you will find mens’ clothes. (No, you cannot see the mens’ shop, it is not in the picture.)
Below: the interior of Local Service. This girl was trying on a beautiful green coat and did not mind being on my blog. After she was gone (to contemplate) I tried it on as well, but it did not suit me as well as it suited her, so I left it.
Below: Mensocks at Runstraat number 6, for the ladies who want to bring home a present. (See the legs on the bench?) Next door at number 4 is The Darling for a mix of clothing, accessories and jewellery (also vintage). And… for coffee, tea or fresh juices and macaroons, or cupcakes which look like little works of art.
The Netherlands are renowned for their flowers. You will find flower shops everywhere. Below: At Runstraat 16 the flower shop is called Gerda’s flowers.
Below: I already have expressed my joy in my post about these lovely soft leather orange brogues. Found at Dominio, Runstraat 15. They closed shop in The Nine Streets unfortunately. They used to sell shoes for men and women, all hand-made, and bags. 
Below: time for a street view. I was so proud I made a picture with a moving subject in it. Beginner’s luck. Or would it have been better if the background was moving and not the bicycle????
Below: we walked from Runstraat via the Prinsengracht and turned the corner at Berenstraat. At number 41 is De Glaswerkplaats (Glass workshop). For those who cannot come to Amsterdam in May or September… they sell online. They have nice rings and pendants. 
Below: I could not resist taking this picture of the shop window of Marlies Dekkers, who sells her famous lingerie called Undressed. Love the window. Berenstraat 18.
Below: more beautiful lingerie across the road at Berenstraat 9. The shop is called Stout (translated: Naughty. Which it is, especially their basement…..Oh la la.)
Below: The National Museum of Spectacles at Gasthuismolensteeg 7. If you are into the history of fashion or 700 hundred years of history of spectacles in particular – you must see this small exhibit. It is not only a museum, they also sell old and peculiar glasses.
Below: beautiful jewellery at Sas Design, Gastmolensteeg 1. That necklace of transparent green beads … so lovely. I must have been very occupied with taking pictures as I did not go in to buy it. Very good for my bank account I suppose. I am such a sucker for a nice necklace. The earrings are great too, but I need an adjustment: not a hook but a stud and they cannot be heavy as I have tiny and thin earlobes.
Time to show another canal. You have not seen many of them in this post, but believe me, the Nine Streets have loads of these views.
Below: for the design vintage hunters…. Hermès and Louis Vuitton bags, second-hand. And as far as I can see genuine. The store has got a chic name as well: L’étoile de Saint Honoré. You’d think you are in Paris instead of Amsterdam. They are situated at Oude Spiegelstraat number 1.
Below: Shoe{diction (this is no spelling mistake. The { is in the name), Oude Spiegelstraat 3. Mouth-watering.
Below: back home. This is what I was wearing that day. Only not with these green high heeled booties but with sneakers. I am no fool haha. (Darned I love these jeans. Quite cheap but a perfect fit. Such a shame I cannot get a new pair.) My hair here is still long(ish) and blond.
