Today something nicer than yesterday… my olive green dress from LaDress (la dress online). A lovely online shop with dresses that will suit any woman. You can dress them up or down. (I do not get paid for this advertising haha, I just like the shop.)
You will see my olive green dress with shoes and a brass wolves necklace. With a peach top and peach / black dotted scarf as belt. With pink/cream boots (Suzanne, these are for you) and with my black boots.
You can pick and choose what you like best.
Perhaps you will see this dress again in the future as Anja styled it with some more items, clever little thing.
Now I have to upload the photos very quickly as my husband wants his dinner on the table. It is my turn to cook.

Not sure if I like the colour. Style certainly enhances your boobs! Don’t think peach is the colour to add, a turquoise/lime green/olive green print would be better. Patski xx
I do not particularly want to enhance my boobs but you are right, this dress does so. On the other hand, I cannot hide them either. They are there. I am quite pleased that the dress fits well. A lot better than blouses normally do.
This is a very nice dress and you look great in it! I prefer it with the necklace also, and I think it would look great with your dark brown boots as well. I’m not a fan of scarves as belts, however I think the peach color goes very vell with the olive:)
Thanks Nanne. Had not thought of the brown boots yet. I also have a very pretty scarf-type thing for the top to match the brown boots.
The combination with the orange shawl and the light boots is my favourite: contemporary, happy and very Greetje. The ones with only green are way too classic, old and boring for my tast. Black boots are not a nice match, IMHO.
You know me… sometimes I am very classic. Sometimes I am wild.
I like a bit more colour with the outfit, but the scarf is too bright for me and I don’t want the black. I would choose something a little softer, like your t-shirt, which seems to be a bit paler. Or something in the colour of the pink boots, because I like those best with the outfit. Perhaps, just wear the necklace with the cream boots!
I did wear the dress with the necklace and the cream boots. Your wish is my command hahaha. No, not really, just a coincidence.Pale pink is not a colour I buy but in this case I could as I am also wearing the olive green near my face.
Lovely dress and so versatile. My favorite is with the tangerine (or peach colored) sash, I can’t help but add that splash of color or ‘pop’ to an outfit. You look stunning in all the pictures. And, thanks for being brave enough with your post yesterday, isn’t it great when we can laugh at ourselves?
Hi Trina, I tend to favour outfits with more colours as well. So I will gladly wear it with the peach colored sash. Still, I do like the necklace as well, so I am spoiled for choice. And yes, I do like to laugh at myself. These outfit photos are a great hobby but I don’t take everything too seriously.
Forgot to say, LOVE the necklace! Patski xx
Yes, that was the first necklace from Ina that I fell in love with.
This is another great look, Greetje. The dress suits you very well, and I really like the color. My favorite look would be where you took the simple route, and only added the necklace. It really plays well off the color of the dress, and showcases the necklace.xo,Terryhttp://terrys-two-cents.blogspot.com
I cannot choose. Which is good because it makes the dress versatile. With a light preference for the cream boots.
Greetje – you fabulous creature! I am so happy for the shout-out. 🙂 You made my day.I think a warp dress is one of the most universally flattering styles any woman can wear and this dress proves it. It shows off your curves to perfection. The first look with the pumps and necklace (I love that!) is a bit more formal but the look with the peach and the light boots is more fun. I think the boots are divine! A girl can never have enough boots. 🙂 I like the black ones also but the middle look is my favorite. You are fortunate to have the artistic Anja for a personal stylist!USA Suzanne
Yes I am lucky with Anja. She knows how to style me even though our taste in clothes differ. And I am very pleased that you still visit my blog.
It is a very busy time of year – I have a party tonight and a dinner on Friday and next week my son will be home from college – but I try to visit your Blog each day. I would not want to miss out on any of your lovely outfits. You inspire me. Plus, you always make me laugh and that is priceless! :)USA Suzanne
You are probably not on Facebook. Just put this message on there. I got it through the mail from a very dear friend of mine and it made me laugh so much. Here it comes.Friendship …… None of that Sissy ShitAre you tired of those sissy ‘friendship’ poems that always sound good, but never actually come close to reality?Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of true friendship. You will see no cute little smiley faces on this. Just the stone cold truth of our great friendship. When you are sad ….I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad. When you are blue ….I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you. When you smile …..I will know you are thinking of something that I would probably want to be involved in.When you are scared ….. I will rag on you about it every chance I get until you’re NOT.When you are worried…. I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining. When you are confused …. I will try to use only little words. When you are sick ….. Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don’t want whatever you have. When you fall …. I will laugh at your clumsy ass, but I’ll help you up.This is my oath ….. I pledge it to the end.’Why?’ you may ask ….. because you are my friend.Friendship is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel the true warmth.Send this message to 10 of your friends. Then get depressed because you can only think of 4.
This is hilarious! And so true in so many ways. I am lucky enough to have a few friends who show me this honest type of friendship. :)USA Suzanne
Warp dresses look great on you, so does this one. They are so timeless. I like the ‘simple’ version best, just with the necklace. Somehow I am not such a fan of the polkadot scarf that keeps showing up in your outfits:) The creme boots are beautiful!
Thanks Katrien. One day I am in favour of the simple version and the next day I am into the polkadot scarf again. I like it a lot.
I can repeat what Terry says, I like the first one as well. The extra elegance comes from the necklace and shoes.
There is one thing you cannot see in the photos, the necklace needs a lot of adjusting….
I really like the dress, design and color. I like all the options, but the one I like is the leading pink details. I’d like to see a picture with the collar and light colored boots. The necklace is beautiful.
Thank you Josep-Maria. The necklace was made by a friend who sadly died last year. I will do an article one day on all her necklaces. I ended up with 13 of them (I can easily get carried away).
