This post will be a funny one. First I will show you some pictures of this outfit with my leopard sandals. Then I will show you a picture of my husband Ron trying on new sneakers….
The silk blouse is bottle green (I think) and very comfortable. Together with my white capri trousers, white top and my leopard sandals (seen here), a very comfortable summer outfit. I even survived the strap between my toes. (I have very sensitive feet in summer.)
Below: I have arachnophobia and I saw a spider a few inches from my head… Chased it away and am checking.
I have been in therapy (seriously) and I can handle it very well. But it is never completely gone.

Below: Ron gave me this watch. A really modern one. I like it a lot but I have to adjust my jewellery. The ring does not match.
And then, just to make you laugh as much as I did…..: Ron trying on some new sneakers.
Dressed to be walking the dog at the beach. Putting on ONE sock to see whether the sneakers fit.
You have to love this man. He is so practical… “Do they fit? Good, that is all I need to know.”
Hope you roared with laughter as much as I did.. 😀

You know that I love your husband as well. You know what I mean, he is the funniest man I ever met. Everything that comes out of his mouth is funny. But what I didn’t know is that he has great legs. So now I can call you the couple with the great legs. I love your outfit, like you I love the colour green and now for the first time in 7 years we have a heatwave, so lot of opportunities to wear your sandels, which I like very much.
He has quite decent legs for a man, but with the shorts and the black sock, his calf looks enormous hahaha.
I actually love that your husband is wearing pink shorts (are they pink?) And, yes you gave me a good laugh to capture the one shoe on, one shoe off photo is priceless.
Dang, you have my sandals on again. What a great color combination you put together, love the green with the leapord print as well as with those sandals.
Greetje,
Love this post. The shoes are beautiful, you look great ( new hair cut?) and I did laugh out loud!

I always have my hair cut every six weeks in more or less the same way. This style suits me best. There are a lot of factors that can make or break how my hair looks though. In this post it was looking extremely good. Was pleased with that.
Glad you had to laugh.
I have returned from my holiday in the Basque Country and run to comment on your blog. I loved the blus with anchors and stripes skirt, were very elegant. In today’s post, you know, the capri do not like, but when you take your, I like them. I like the combination of white and green, it looks beautiful. The blouse is very pretty and sandals, too. A practical man, your husband.
And a funny man. Did you check out the post Boating in Amsterdam? I think you will like that one. The post with the striped skirt was really up your alley, wasn’t it?
Glad to have you back. Hope you had a wonderful holiday.
Your hubby has got some nice calves, lol! And good to know he’s a practical, lovable hub!
One in a million. He even has some bad sides to his character too. Which makes him more perfect than when he would be flawless. Get what I mean? Imperfection is really perfection. Because who wants to be with a perfect person?
spectacular as usual, love that shade of green
Green is one of my favourite colours. I have many though. Red and.. Oh I should not repeat myself.
Nice combination, Greetje! I am searching for leather high sneakers, but my search and criteria are not a simple and straightforward as Ron’s;-)
That is because you are a woman which automatically means “complicated” haha. And the man is simple and straight forward.
Greetje, great legs run in the family!
I’m glad to hear that you did got some help with your phobia but as you said it never really goes away. My oldest daughter is the same as you but the unusual thing is that she used to love spiders and bugs as a young girls but now as a young adult is petrified of them. I love the sandals mix of colors and texture as well as your leopard printed belt.
Have a nice and fun weekend,
My psychologist could not find any reason for my fear either. But I was petrified of them since I was a little child. So your daughter is indeed unusal in this. Perhaps something frightening happened in her childhood involving spiders?
Of course I did not go to a psychologist in a hurry. You know that ultimately you will be confronted with the very thing you are afraid of. But my fear got to such a ridiculous state. I would just blindly run away from a spider the minute I saw one. Even when I was in a boat (nearly overboard) or on a highway (imagine that!). As it was getting dangerous, I went. And I am so happy I did that. When you are suffering from a fobia you are in such denial about the effect it has on your life.
I guess from your clothes that you are having a good weather in The Netherlands. . .( I always have something I must understand! ) your outfit seems confortable, and the combination of green and white is nice.
Funny to see your husband wearing only one shoe! He gives me the idea to share a quite different kind of man in my next post!
See you
P.S. I am terrified by lizards
Lizards are fun to me.. Funny people we are. Yes it is beautiful weather in our country. Finally. And the picture of my husband with one shoe is particularly bad because of the one BLACK sock.
Great pairing of your new sandals with your belt! I love that your hubby wears pink. My hubby won’t even let my son wear pink.

Pink actually suits him quite well. A bit “dangerous” this weekend though… It is gay pride weekend. Festivals and celebrations with all the gay people from Holland and all around the world. In Amsterdam. Big festival. And every gay person is wearing something……pink.
Very pretty. 🙂
I admire spiders…from a distance!
Thank you for your visit and leaving a comment. I can handle them now. Even stand next to them.
Those sandals are amazing and I love the added leopard belt
Brett
Thanks Brett, I can imagine that the sandals are to your taste. You have so many pretty ones.

OMG, nearly overboard and nearly hit on the highway is a very serious issue!
I’m glad that you are better now and my oldest daughter is able to handle it a bit better and she is even able to smash them if she needs to.
