As you can understand, when Sylvia of 40+Style is in The Netherlands we try to see as much of each other as we can (and my job allows). We like talking (a lot), taking pictures, shopping and visiting nice towns. Last Wednesday Sylvia and I went shopping in Alkmaar. An old town in the North-West part of Holland. And it did not disappoint. The gorgeous weather was a bonus.
And on with the second part of my trip to visit Daniela in Italy. Last week I called my post Fashion in Turin. And that didn’t really cover the subject. Therefore, I thought of Turin Style for this second post. Better?
Above: on Saturday Dan took me to a palace: La Reggia di Venaria. It was bloody hot that day, so I decided to join Dan in wearing a dress. View Post
These white trousers are the comfiest trousers you can imagine. The crotch hangs way low, they are soft as butter and they don’t pinch my belly. The name of the brand is Hope, a fantastic Swedish brand. All their stuff is sooo soft. They do “normal” trousers and dresses as well, but I happened to buy their “relaxed” items, as I did this winter (you saw my black and white trousers which I wore to Antwerp). View Post
Knowing I would want to do a post about my little city trip, the big question was of course: what to wear to Barcelona? The temperature for those three days was going to be 25, 28 and 30 degrees Celcius which is very warm for me. Also, high heels (my favourite) were out of the question. Hours of walking is not something you do on high heels. Well… very few of us do. How to look nice on flat shoes with hardly any clothes on? View Post
The first route through Amsterdam started at the Dam square in a department store called The Bijenkorf which means beehive. As you all know what department stores look like, not many picture of that. 😉
If later, you want to view this post again, you can find it under the tab “Amsterdam” in the top navigation. This is where all posts tempting you to join me in a long (shopping) weekend in Amsterdam are stored.
