Yes, I have been at it again. Not going on holiday to Spain with my BVA girlfriends left me sad and needy. (I know, it is pathetic and a very first world “problem”). After having worked the Monday when I was supposed to be on holiday, I decided against working that week, took the rest of the week off and arranged several dates with friends. This day I was with Marjolein and it was a day of orange clothes. View Post
Still on flat shoes. As this cream dress by Sportmax is too short (always was a “problem”) I added trousers. I don’t mind flat boots with trousers.
My friend Misja (MisjaB) came over for a cup of coffee/tea in my lonely hours at home and I asked her very kindly whether she would take a few outfit shots for today’s post. She agreed and we took these in the street behind my house. It was done in a couple of minutes but when you have a professional photographer like Misja, all shots are good.
Not much variety of course, as my options to create a post showing different areas or different backgrounds are limited. It will have to do dear readers. Until the knee is better. View Post
Today again two holiday days with friends. Thursday with Aafke in Amersfoort and Tuesday with Eefje in Haarlem. Both were colleagues of mine. In 1985 Eefje joined the advertising agency where I worked at the time and Aafke came working with the advertising department at the bank in 2009. All three of us have a really Dutch first name. There is this lovely little shop selling vintage bags in Haarlem. Sylvia and I had a great time looking around there. In the past I have bought a few bags of the friendly lady owner, like the grey one in this post. It started with a hobby (of course) and now she buys and sells them. I can be in that shop for a long time, looking at all the gems. This time I came out with the bright green mini bag. View Post
Here we finally go, my holiday pictures. As I said, we “had” to go on holiday as our parquet floor got sanded and varnished, meaning: not entering the living room for 4 days. Why not turn this hitch into an opportunity and go to the south of France for 6 days? Which left me with the question: what to wear at the Côte d’Azur? I know what you are thinking: “Gosh, is that your “problem”? Must be hard to bare”… Yes, I agree, we are lucky bastards. View Post
