I adore these red cowboy boots. My husband bought them for me. Really to go with a lime yellow dress he also bought me, but that is another story.
This weekend I was photographing outfits like crazy as you never know in Holland when the light will disappear again. So I was in and out of the house in between showers. (It rained a lot.) Also in and out of clothes, and when I came into the living room half dressed, half naked, my husband stuck his thumb up and said:”Great hobby”. LOL
These photos however were made a while ago, when I just came home from the office. No time to do my hair (…. bad mistake..)
Hope you like this outfit as well. The top is by Sarah Pacini, the bag by VOI, the boots by Sendra.
The pendant is a Victorian wax stamp. Also a present from my husband. He is very good to me.
Till tomorrow. (I have to find a better and more original way of ending my articles.)

I came across this when I was googling black jeans with red cowboy boots & thought i would comment since your outfit is almost exactly what i was thinking of wearing… I was thinking of pairing mine with a blue faded denim Levi’s jacket.. My boots are a little darker red than yours but I know it will look great bc yours does!
Glad I could inspire you. You might want to have a look at two other posts with these boots. You might get some more inspiration (I hope so):

Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to these boots when I stopped wearing insoles. Without insoles, the boots were too big to wear. The looseness of the boots caused me pain in my wonky left knee. End of story.
Well… I must say that I tend to agree with Nanne. She says a more slouchy bag would be nicer. But money has run out, so I will make do with this one.
Your husband has good taste! Fabulous boots and I love the bag too!
Yes, the bag is nice too. Although I love the colour red, I don’t use these two items much. Actually, I hardly ever wear the boots. Shame on me. Other women would die for it.
Your husband is as humorous as you are – “Great hobby” cracks me up! You know I love those red boots. Boots over jeans is my favorite look. You are so adorable. USA Suzanne
My husband has a great sense of humor. He is very quick in his replies. And very witty. So we both laugh a lot. Yes, I picked a fine one.
Again very lovely combination, love the boots, didn’t your husband say as well that the accent on the boots would be better if you would wearthem just with your in between outfit. No need of the gorgeous handbag either.
Hahaha no comment
Loooooove that bag! (I’m a “bag lady”) LOve everything in that outfit, but is too much red, I rather will use another bag for this outfit. Ok send me that bag! ha ha! ;)Mayra(cabellin)
Hahaha, no chance Mayra. I love that bag. But you are right, there is too much red in that outfit. And as Nanne said, the bag might be slightly too structured for the casual look. No problem. I have more use for it. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
I love the simple outfit with the pop of red, and I like how your bag matches your boots.
You just define cute here! Love you in your boots from one old cowgirl to a younger one! I’ve got several pairs in the closet but so worn and nasty that there’s not an ounce of fashion-wear in them. Complete with real spurs.
That BAG! Gorgeous. I sort of like the structure for contrast with your boots.
Nice to come out from under my rock to see your face, finally! Nice treat for me!
This was my December 2012 face, when I had just started blogging. I thought I would take this post for Patti’s Link-up. To stay in tune with her boots. It is a shame as ai hardly use them. I would have preferred them to be calve height not knee height. No idea how to style them apart from this outfit.
I wanted to leave a quick note that I loved the outfit here- and then I noticed you are NOT from Texas!
Those red boots will work great with any little black dress, if you have any shirtdresses, I’d pair them with those with a Red obi belt for a sophisticated look, or just a regular black belt for something more casual.
Honestly, they’d go great with your DVF wrap dress in blue, or that black and white mara mara dress as well.
Knee high boots like yours are work constantly out here with knee length dresses and skirts in the summer, and blue jeans or leggings with a tunic top or shirtdress in the fall/winter when it’s a little cooler.
I wear cowboy boots any time heels are appropriate, but my feet hurt too much thinking of wearing them!
They’re amazing boots, I saw a similar pair I was tempted by, but was outside of my budget, for about $500 last week, they are the sort of thing I hope you get to wear more often because when they break in, they are COMFORTABLE and still look great!
Oh gosh Bippy, this is an old post!! And I am ashamed to say, the only other time I wore these boots is in this outfit:

If they had been shorter on the leg, say calf high, I would have more use for them. They were indeed expensive but not $500. I cannot remember, but I think half that price. My husband always cheers me on to wear them with a summer dress. To me that is a no-go. When I wear a summer dress, it is to keep cool and those boots are winter boots, so hot in summer. The brand is Sendra.
You are right though, the more you wear them, the more comfortable they get. I was told up to a point you don’t want to wear anything else anymore haha.
I will do my best to create more outfits with them. Promise.
I love the outfit, but I feel that the style of the bag clashes a bit with the rest, as it is too structured for the otherwise casual look. A slouchy bag would probably look better:)
Good point Nanne. I had not thought of that. I am always in danger of making things too matchy matchy. And indeed the style is quite different. Oh, what a pity: two years ago I was so tempted to buy a black and white hairy bag with red trimmings. Would have been SOOOO good with this outfit. But I resisted the temptation. Which does not happen too often. See? If I resist it, I feel sorry.
I think the jeans you feel great, in all outfits you wear jeans in these you feel perfect. I think your legs are great for this piece. The outfit today is very nice, red boots and bag (both beautiful) looks great with the rest of the team. A proposal is simple and fun, beautiful and young. The pendant is beautiful and your hair looks beautiful, do not worry.
Thank you Josep-Maria, you are always very kind to me.

Wonderful outfit – the reds pop out but don’t overwhelm. And fabulous boots, so glad you’re showing them off today. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday, xo.
And I hardly ever wear them. I have a hard time styling them.
