Black, cream and red outfit with OTK boots

Red Kenzo coat with black OTK bootsThis outfit is easy. No great styling effort. Just a black, cream and red outfit with my over the knee boots. The only “styling” bit to this outfit was the thought that I wanted to wear these boots with a light coloured pair of trousers. As I love contrast. This outfit also creates the opportunity to show you my third hat: a pillbox hat. View Post

Golden boots

golden boots nr 1 (1 van 1)You may think that taking pictures for a blog is easy…. well it is not. For one, you need skills…. Too bad I am lacking them. My husband is still learning as well. Which means we sometimes get into a tiff, to use a real English understatement. Like when we took these photos with my new golden boots. Ron doesn’t like the boots. At all. Bloggers get together part two

Photo by Anja the Curly Traveller (11)_LRThings can go a bit crazy when you put four bloggers together who are mad about clothes. OK fair enough, this was not my idea; crazy Anja and Suzanne came up with it and I played along. Reluctantly, I will admit, as there wasn’t anything flattering for me in the clothes box, being a size larger than the other three. The photos in this bloggers get together part two, are taken mostly on the Saturday (see part one here). Taking advantage of the weather (and my husband), we went for a boat cruise through Amsterdam. Always fun. View Post

Bloggers get together

Suzanne Carillo (4)It is getting quite busy here in The Netherlands with bloggers coming and going from all over the world. OK,OK that is a bit exaggerated. Still, in July blogger Dan from The Pretty Cute was over from Italy and now Suzanne from Suzanne Style Files (Canada) is staying in The Netherlands. And two more bloggers get together with us: Anja and Sylva. View Post

Shopping in Amsterdam… at the Albert Cuyp market

Amsterdam Albert Cuyp 14Of course markets are alike all over the world. Still …shopping in Amsterdam at the Albert Cuyp market is a nice experience and worth reporting on.  Lots of food for very low prices. (I mean strawberries for € 1.50 in February? That is cheap.) Lots of flowers, fresh fish, olives, vegetables, cheese… you get the picture. View Post
