Shopping in Eindhoven

Shopping in EindhovenWhen you know you will have your coat on most of the day, you’d better put on a nice one. This kimono coat was another purchase in that little boutique in Paris where I bought the sequined top. It is wool, nice and warm but still elegant. Perfect for shopping in Eindhoven, which was our destination, chosen by my Shopping Saturday friends Anke and Sabine. The Dutch Design Week was on, so we could combine creativeness with shopping. Pink, black and white scarf in Haarlem

Pink, black and white scarf and a Marck&Co bagToday a simple outfit for a woman still wearing flat shoes/boots (me). The pink, black and white scarf is new to you. The bag you have seen before here. In reality the pink colour of the bag is much more like the pink in the scarf. I was having lunch that day with Misja, a female photographer who you have seen on my blog before. Misja asked me to take pictures of her while at work for her blog, and … could she take some pictures of me? Hah could she? Of course!! Free photos by a pro… what a fluke. And at the same time doing blogging work with a friend. Always so nice. View Post

Teal booties, skinnies and the Angela Caputi necklace

Teal Unisa shoes and Angela Caputi necklace 1In December my stepdaughter and I went shopping together at The Bijenkorf, a large department store in Amsterdam. A sensible choice as we both carried gift cards for this store, courtesy of Ron (my husband and Nicky’s father). As I have a lot of black clothes, especially this year, some pop of colour and some interest, like with these teal booties, seemed very welcome. Also, in the weekend, I like to wear low heels as I walk a lot. They are very comfortable and so different from what you normally see. Which always attracts me. View Post

Tuxedo skinny black and white

Black&white trousers with black stripe 1aHerringbone is what this print is called. I learned that from Sylvia at 40+Style. I commented on her blog: “No…., herringbone is not for me”. And as usual I bought these skinnies the very next day. The times I have to eat my own words are countless. View Post

Grey green baggy trousers… with sneakers

Take a deep breath (I did). Here are my trousers with a black top and (as variation) with a brown leather jacket.
When I saw the back of these trousers I had to laugh and thought about the blog called Man Repeller.
Josep-Maria is not repelled by them, so it does not apply to all men. (You are unique Josep-Maria, but I bet you already knew that).

The sneakers are lovely to wear. They have flowers on the side and studs and are made of leather.
The jacket is not my favourite. If I wear it outside as a coat, it is too cold most of the time. And if I wear it indoors I have the idea that I am ready to leave the house. Especially with that scarf, although I think the scarf is lovely.

All in all, I do not wear the trousers much like this. Stay tuned… tomorrow I will show you these trousers with something more tight at the top but still with sneakers. A sort of part III and the end of this sequence.
Here are two photos of the front…..

And here the photo of the back….

Oh really, it looks terrible. HAHAHA.

The photos with the leather jacket look quite relaxed. But it also looks as if I have short legs which I have not.

Until tomorrow.
